Rosalie Spire has been working as an independent historical researcher since 1997. She has a BA hons in English Literature and History, and continued in the late 80s to pursue her MA in commonwealth history at Birkbeck College under Professor Peter Marshall and Dr. David Anderson while she worked full-time as an Information Officer for the Advertising Standards Authority. In 1997 Rosalie started to work as an independent researcher, at the British Library and The National Archives. At the same time she pursued a Btech in computing, combining her historical research knowledge and that of information technology, developing database applications which helped her clients to easily analyze accumulated data. Nowadays her research expertise takes her all across the various London based archives: The London Metropolitan Archives, Lambeth Palace Library, The British Library and the National Archives as well as the many smaller archives across London. |
